MSK @ Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
On Thursday, November 23, 2023, the Marching Scarlet Knights captivated audiences nationwide as they marched more than 2.5 miles in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Broadcasted live on NBC, the streets of New York City erupted with cheers as the MSK showcased their classic pregame tunes.
The atmosphere became electric as the MSK delivered a dynamic performance of The Spice Girls' hits "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life" in front of Macy's iconic star. Their vibrant display of music and dance left an unforgettable mark on the parade's grand stage, delighting spectators lining the streets and viewers at home.
MSK @ Grand Nationals
On Saturday November 13, 2021, the Marching Scarlet Knights took on Indianapolis! After performing at the Rutgers vs. Indiana game in Bloomington, the band traveled to Lucas Oil Stadium.

In front of some of the most talented performers in the nation, the MSK closed out a night of wonderful performances with a mash up of their pregame show and a flight theme showed featuring songs like "Rocket Man" and "Defying Gravity".

On Monday, November 4, 2019, the MSK performed halftime at the Giants Cowboys game at MetLife Stadium!

The performance, which was part of our 150th anniversary of college football celebration, highlighted Rutgers football history from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Music included music from Wild Cherry, Prince, Guns n' Roses, Backstreet Boys, and 98 Degrees.
JOE BIDEN SPEAKS AT RU
On October 12, 2017, members of the Marching Scarlet Knights were invited to welcome former Vice President Joe Biden to the College Ave. Gym for his speech at the "It's On Us" rally.
The band played the Vice President on stage with a rendition of Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" and got the crowd excited for the very distinguished guest.
SUPER BOWL XLVIII
In 2014, the MSK had the once in a lifetime opportunity to perform at Super Bowl XVIII alongside the Syracuse band in a joint pregame performance representing New Jersey and New York.
In true Jersey fashion, the band performed Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run" for a crowd of 80,000 fans.
IMAGINE DRAGONS ON THE TONIGHT SHOW
On June 20, 2017, members of the Marching Scarlet Knight Drumline joined Imagine Dragons on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
They helped the Grammy Award winning group perform their hit song, Thunder. The performance is highlighted in this video from the show.
JIMMY FALLON'S TONIGHT SHOW DEBUT ft. U2
On February 17, 2014, Jimmy Fallon hosted his first episode of The Tonight Show. For his debut, Jimmy needed more than one iconic band to make an appearance.
On top of the Rockefeller Center, members of the MSK jammed out with this member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to perform their song "Invisible."
